Newborn sleep patterns

I'm writing this while my little one is napping for the first time all day! It's been one of those days, my little Velcro baby was just stuck to me.
He's 5 weeks on Wednesday, my second child (first is now 3.5yrs) but I've forgotten how tough that newborn stage is.
I know I should enjoy it but those sleepless nights are starting to get to me.
I suppose I'm asking advice - is it normal that baby is taking an hour to take a bottle at night? He wakes every 3/4 hours so I think that's pretty normal at this stage.
But during the day he is very settled (normally) very sleepy, but up for a disco at night.
A typical night - last bottle around 11pm
Then wakes at 2.30am - won't settle till about 4ish, then awake again at 6am for a bottle.
Is this 'normal' I can't remember?
Is there anything I can do during the day so he maybe settles a bit quicker at night ?

Maybe this is all normal, i really just can't remember how things were with my first.

Any advice, encouragement etc much appreciated
