teeth grinding

My 4 year old grinds his teeth at night to the point that he has a ridge in his bottom teeth. Does anyone know how to stop this..is it bad..should I worry etc etc.

Hard to stop this as involuntary, talk to your dentist. They might recommend fitting a mouthguard. If it continues, it can change the shape/alignment of the jaw - not good.
