2.5yo won’t settle!!

I’m honestly at my wits end and looking for some advice, as I can’t seem to find the information I’m looking for on google! My 2.5yo daughter has been a good sleeper until the last few months, and now she absolutely loses it when we leave her room at night. She is in a bed rather than a cot so just gets out and comes out of her room crying for us (both at bedtime and through the night when she wakes up). She was fine when she first moved from a cot to a bed and would go to sleep with no trouble. She’s a good talker and I have tried asking her why she’s getting out of bed but she won’t tell me why, she’ll just cry and keep saying “mummy daddy”… it’s got so bad that we’ve taken to letting her get in bed with us during the night so that we can at least get some sleep (I was always against co sleeping but we were spending up to an hour each time trying to get her back to bed, multiple times a night). Sometimes this works and she sleeps for the rest of the night but other times she will wake up in our bed and still kick off! I’m at a loss as to what to do, she gets so worked up and I think that’s what stopping her going to sleep/back to sleep (until she finally gives up). Please tell me I’m not alone and that there’s a way to get past this?! We have an 8 month old baby too so have to try and calm her down ASAP before she wakes him up. It’s probably worth noting she was fine until he was about 5 months old so I don’t think that’s the cause, and also it’s not that he wakes her up as they seem to wake up at different times (hence the name ‘desperateforsleep’ haha). PLEASE HELP!!!

Going through similar and just seeing if you had a breakthrough or if the phases just passed?!

please give me hope.

It will pass. For now, let her come into your bed, that will comfort her. We co-slept and no harm came to any of us. It doesn't last forever.
