11 month old sleep so bad - please help!

My 11 month old has never been a good sleeper but we are now at rock bottom. He's refusing naps or napping for short periods then waking. In the night I put him down at 7.30pm and he sleeps but wakes every night 11.30-12. We then (reluctantly) bring him into our bed where I try and settle him (usually ends up on the boob) and then he wakes multiple times a night after that. The last few nights have been at its worst as he is just awake and restless. Not in pain, just restless. Please can anyone tell me where I am going wrong? I cannot continue like this. It's breaking me. I'm literally never getting a break, whether it's day or night.

I know exactly where you're coming from, your doing great though.
I had two terrible sleepers. Dd1 woke every two hours until almost 15 months (2 months of that was every 45 minutes) dd2 woke every 3 hours for just over a year. The only thing that settles them was boob.
So I quit the boob. I was just a human pacifier and I could not do it anymore
There was a week or so transition where dd1 would actually rather I didn't even cuddle her if I wasn't going to give her the boob but then they started sleeping through the night. Since then they sleep 12 hours straight and if they wake they can settle themselves. Dd2 is now 6 and you can still hear her singing to herself to go herself back to sleep 😅
It's the absolute hardest time to not be sleeping, but you can do this mama!

Yeah I'm in the same boat although I've been really putting him to bed awake and off the boob now but when he wakes in the night it's all he wants. Otherwise he's up multiple times a night. Which means me having to tend to him in his bedroom every 2 hours. I've been doing gentle Ferber and he falls asleep independently but he still wakes so much. Last night his first wake up 10.30! Then I rocked him to sleep and he woke again at 1am. Then I just gave up and brought him to bed. I'm so tired!

@BecuaseIWantItThatWay do you recommend them? Have you used them?
