Does anyone follow these for the age of 8 months ish? Does it really work?

I’ve tried it a couple of times but I feel like my baby struggles with the 1145 nap for 3 hrs. Like if he wakes after an hour it’s a long way until bedtime? Or do you still give a 3rd cat nap at 8 months if this happens??

anyone following this and can advise?
