Hello! My LO is 8 weeks old - for context she has consistently gained wait since birth - i always feed her at 11pm and like clockwork will start loudly stirring at 3/4 oclock. i understand babies go through active sleep cycles and this happens but she shows slight hunger signs like clench fists. I have tried things like putting my hand on her chest to see if she re settles and she doesnt- at this point i tend to wake her by picking her up to feed- but im wondering if i should be doing this or just ignoring her until that phase of rem sleep passes. Thanks!

She's not going to sleep through the night and at 8 weeks will need feeding after a few hours sleep, honestly you're lucky you're getting her down for that length of time already

She needs to be fed. You’re talking about a two month old baby!

Please feed your baby.
