Just looking for abit of advice
my little one is 5 months old he use to be the best sleeper going from 8pm to 5am then till 7am sometimes waking at 1am for a feed but not often for about a month now his sleeping has been hell! I have not changed anything I was doing bath bottle bed in a dark room with white noise machine but lately he likes to sleep on his side that’s the only thing that has changed.
I put him down the same way he rolls on his side and self soothes to sleep but after 30 minutes he’s rolls back and wakes up but not crying just moaning and this is repeating all night. Some nights I have give in and just put him in bed with me but he still waking up every 30 minutes to a hour I’m so exhausted I just don’t no what’s gone wrong! He use to love his sleep. He still naps 4 times in a day but only 45 minutes a time and he can’t stay awake longer than 2 hours 10 minutes. Does anyone what is happening please?

I’m going through the exact same thing at the moment with my nearly 5 month old. So no advice, but solidarity! She had started sleeping longer stretches but now we are back to this, it is so hard! X

Your baby’s sleep changes could be due to developmental milestones or teething. Keep the bedtime routine consistent, ensure a comfortable sleep environment, and try gradually extending wake times tomb of the mask. This phase is common and will likely pass, but consult your pediatrician if issues persist. Hang in there!

It must be the age, I am really hoping he starts having longer stretches soon. I keep thinking something must be wrong with him but he seems fine in himself, he drools a lot and moans a few times due to teething but other than that he’s a happy baby. Hopefully there are better nights to come. Thank you for you reply’s xx
