What can my baby wear to bed?

Hey, Im an FTM and in always overthinking with regard to my baby not being dressed correctly when she goes to sleep at night. Our room seems to linger around 22 degrees even with a fan on. I’ve been doing loads of Google searches about this and seems like every source has a different view on what baby should wear to bed. Currently she’s in a sleep suit with a short sleeved bodysuit underneath… but I don’t know if I should take her sleep suit off her and put her in a sleep bag (1.5 TOG). Could someone please help me?

How old is she?

This is driving me mad, but I definitely read some sort of formula for layers on sleeping babies depending on the room temperature, once upon a time. I’ll have a quick Google.

I always did just a sleep suit (no vest underneath) then whatever tog of sleeping bag you need?

Thanks. She's asleep now so I feed bad waking her up to take her pyjamas off to take the bodysuit off to put her pyjamas back on.

No let her sleep😴 tbh I'm sure either way is fine, I just never saw what the extra vest layer added and mine always verged on hot rather than cold!

Mine would be in a long sleeve vest and a 1 Tog bag. They always preferred their arms covered and I kept them in bags for as long as possible as it stops them climbing out the cot.

I always followed the rule of one layer more than what you wear yourself.

We’re usually in short sleeve, vest, sleepsuit and swaddle bag- he always seems to be cold!
