Breastfed to Sleep

Hello, I have a 10 month old baby boy who has always been breastfed to sleep. Multiple night wakes are happening now and I eventually have to feed him to get even a couple of hours sleep. I’m exhausted and wanted a night away from him. Any advice if I can actually leave him for a night?! Will it be a nightmare for my husband…..! He will take a bottle which is useful…

Just let it be a nightmare for him. You need to have a night away from the home. Not just the next room otherwise your dh will give in quickly.

If he takes the bottle then thats fine. Just have some practice nighta before hand. But really just go for it.
My DS1 only nursed to sleep didn't accept anything else until weaned at 22months.

My little one is still breastfed to sleep at 27 months but she will take a sippy cup and go to sleep in my husbands arms so if your baby takes a bottle then I’m sure he’ll go for him. Maybe try a practice run but make sure you’re not around.

Thanks so much for this. Did you ever leave them overnight? Before they were weaned off the boob?
