10 Month Baby Constantly Fidgeting At Night So Hardly Sleeps

Hi All 🙂 just wondered if anyone could shed some light if anyone is currently or has experienced this with their 10 month baby.

My baby is put to sleep 8/9pm and pretty much sleeps solid for around 3-5 hours. Then around the 2am/3am is constantly fidgeting in his cot (in our room) rolling all over the place, rolling on to his front, sitting up, standing up etc etc I try and soothe him (as when he's like this he just can't or doesn't want to go back to sleep) he eventually drifts off but then back at fidgeting again within the hour. And the whole night is spent going round in circles like this. He's fully awake by 6am, which I end up just getting up with him.

He never seems tired from having a restless night. I've read babies can get sleep regression at this age but it's just really taking its toll with going round in circles like this each night and getting zero sleep.

Just to add he has about 2 x 1-1.5 hour naps a day, a nappy change with the pamper extra absorption night pants before he goes to bed and a night feed about 11pm.

Dont know is if we are doing something wrong? Or just the standard to go through with sleep regression?

Maybe he’s actually in active sleep when he’s moving around, and not actually awake. Why don’t you put him in his own room then he can’t disturb you.

He is awake as starts singing and all sorts 🤣 I don't really want to put him in his own room yet until this up and down sleep phase has got abit better

I have an 8 month old who has started doing this and seems so restless so interested in any replies you get! I had assumed it was teething but it’s still happening so maybe a regression 😭
