Is it ok for a 4wo to sleep for 6 hours?

I’ve just woken up and my 4wo was still asleep after 6 hours! So I’ve woken him to feed (he only properly woke when I changed his nappy). Hes fed well during the day today and is over his birth weight (not been weighed again since the HV came a few weeks back) and is having lots of wet and soiled nappies and looks like hrs filling out. He just fed for about 20 mins and has fallen asleep again. Is this ok? Or should I be worried?

Let them sleep! Feeding well, over birth weight. Enjoy it, it might not last long!

If they are gaining weight and generally fine- pooing, weeeing, having alert periods, then it’s totally ok and OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!
if they aren’t gaining or seem lethargic/ tired / l low energy then I’d be more cautious. If they aren’t gaining weight I’d wake them to feed at that age.
