Sleep training and breastfeeding.

My 9 month old has gone from being in his co sleeping cot to ending up in bed with us. He's always been ebf so it made sense at the time because I couldn't be bothered with lifting him in and out of his cot all night. However now I really want to put him in his own room in his own cot. I feel we will all sleep better all round in our own beds. I'm aware that he may still need a feed or two but I really want to start reducing his night feeds now. Can anyone recommend any breastfeeding friendly sleep training advice? I ideally want to do it as gently as possible but I also realise that some protesting may be involved. Any suggestions really welcome.
