Help with sleeping in a Travel Cot

Hello,

I wondered if anyone has any good advice to encourage sleeping in a travel cot when baby is patted to sleep? I’ll need to use one in a month’s time when DC will be 12m but it’s impossible almost to pat to sleep in one as they are so low.

There’s no cot available and would really like to avoid cosleeping.

Thank you

What do they sleep in at home? Do you still have the cot raised up high? If that's the case and baby is not too mobile yet you could look for a travel cot with a bassinet. Just check what weight it's suitable to. My DD didn't move much in her sleep and was late to roll and pull up so she still slept in a travel cot with a bassinet when we went on holiday when she was about 12 months.
