Just curious as to when others dropped naps. We are getting to the point where bedtime is later and later due to not being tired.

There was an element of what worked best for the family too. With DC1, I kept them napping as long as possible as we all stayed up later in the evenings so I kept them napping until after 4years old. With DC2, I wanted them asleep sooner because DC1 was in school and in bed by 7 so I wanted both asleep sooner and awake earlier.

Mine was shortly after 2. They were never particularly early morning risers and I wonder if this was the trade off.

My DC1 is gwtting to that stage last 3 weeks. Some days he can nap 1.5hrs and still be asleep by 8:30pm but then more often then not a nap results in a 10pm bedtime!
We have trialled no nap last 5 days and it works well for bedtime it 7:30pm BUT he is awake 6-7am. As we have a 3 month old who sleeps until 7-8am I would prefer a later start but can't have it all.

Ideally I want toddler to nap until age 4 wt least with 1 -1.5hr nap with DC2 so that's I can get things done in that time. Mainly meal prep or cooking for dinner.

I Can't wait for DC2 to be more independent wnd hwve quiet time so I can still get some downtime myself.
