Baby asleep whilst DF returns from night shift - what to do??

Our 12 week old sleeps in a next2me crib and has a feed typically between 4am-5am but then sleeps until sometimes 9am

DF works night shifts and returns home at 7.30am.

Need advice on whether to put our baby asleep in his own bedroom crib after his 4am-5am feed or to just wake him for the day at 7.30am

DF isn’t complaining btw about our baby being in our room when he returns at 7.30am, I just don’t want to wake DF when baby is ready to wake up

Personally I would leave your baby where they are. It's not the end of the world if your DH gets woken up for a moment or 2. I'm sure you're up multiple times when you're sleeping, and this is just the reality of having a baby.

The baby keeps their routine, your DF understands that for the next couple of months only if he goes to bed on return from his night shift then he may get woken up by the baby as they share a room.
