Is this a safe set up?

So in reference. Our pod seems to be too low annoyingly for our mattress with no way of highering it any further! There is a gap between the bed and the crib as the legs are weird and go outwards downwards annoyingly. The blanket rolled up will not move at all but this seems the best I can get it apart from co sleeping which im struggling with as just want to lay on my own.
Also the cushion is a reflux cushion but am happy to take it away. Just need advice and tips :)

I personally wouldn't have been happy with this set up with mine. Possibly ok when they're very immobile but definitely not beyond that. Can you put the side up on your next to me? I know it defeats the purpose but seeing as you can't have a safe set up, I'd just do this.
Reflux pillow is not considered safe as babies should be flat. Does the next to me prop up at all? That could be the answer if reflux is a problem.

The lullaby trust has lots of helpful information regarding safe sleep if you need it :) good luck!
