14 week old won’t sleep

I have a 14 weeks old little boy. Who just won’t sleep unless he’s on me.

He is our second child and his brother was and still is an amazing sleeper.

We try pop him down for naps tried all sorts of things.
in the pram in his cot with white noise with out noise. With a red light with out a light.
it ends with him screaming and working him self up much that he is hot and very sweaty.

He will nap if he is in the sling and on me no one else. And he will sleep well.

on a night I try putting him down in his own bed on a night some nights he might do a couple of hours some nights it’s less. (If he does a few hours that’s with me having to go in and Pat him back of to sleep as he’s woke up a few times)
but bewtween 11pm and 1am he always ends up in our bed. And we co sleep.
tends to feed around 2-3am.

he is breastfed so that does help when he wakes again at 4am.

just wondered if anyone has any thing else we could try to help with him sleeping.

Thankyou guys. Just a mum who is knackered and at a loss on what else to do. In my mind it’s just keep trying but except that we could do doing it for a while.

Try a rockit, I put it on the snuzpod at night and it helped with one / two stints turned down very low. Sending love from an exhausted mum here too!

Thankyou for the reply but it turns out he had a cows milk protein allergy and the reason he wasn’t sleeping was due to him been uncomfy
not long after writing this we ended up in and out of hospital with him due to him coughing/pooping blood due to this allergy.

4 months of cows milk and he’s a different kid

I’m so sorry to hear that!
My baby has a slight sensitivity to cows milk also so I’ve been on a dairy free diet too for a few months.

I’m glad you got to the bottom of it though and hope baby and you are doing much better
