14 month old bedtime taking ages

My baby has always been pretty good at bedtimes. Put down drowsy and will drift off. Had a few bad spells (teeth/regression/development leaps) but overall really good.

But the past few weeks he just doesn't even try to go to sleep at bedtime. Routine is book, bottle, cuddle until drowsy and then into his cot. But lately bedtime has taken up to 2 hours Wheras it used to take about half hour. Any tips please? I can't put him down until drowsy as he just stands and cries (which would wake his sibling)

He wakes 6/6.30am, naps 11-1ish and bedtime routine starts at 7. I can't believe he wouldn't be tired by 7 as he rubs his eyes/has tired signs. But as soon as he's had his bottle he just wants to clap/wave/anything to avoid sleeping!

Just stumbled across this as we are going through exactly the same thing with our 14 month old (same routine too!). Is it still an issue or did you find a way to crack it?

@Haynesy he eventually just went back to normal and now is even better than before at bedtime. Was just a phase for us. Hope it improves for you soon
