Keeping ds covered

How do I get 1yo ds to stay under a blanket?

He has just been sick on his sleeping bag and his other one is in the wash. Its a little bit cold here and I dont want him to wake up cold. But he wont stay under the blanket and just wriggles around and pushes it to the bottom of his cot.

Any Ideas Welcome.

Thanks

dd is smaller (8m) but I wrap the blanket round her (under her armpits) to make a pseudo-sleeping bag sausage before putting her down

dd2 is one and I put her in a sleep bag and then tuck her in under her arms with a blanket. She does sometimes wriggle out but I check her before I go to bed and lie the blanket on top of her. She seems to be able to keep it on better this way as I think the blanket moves with her...

I have tried that but he is like houdini! He can even get out of his sleeping bags.

I will try again and hope he just stays still.

Thanks

What about putting a little cardi/mits on him? may help to keep him warm?

I hadn't thought about that. He is just in a vest and a sleepsuit.

Thanks I will go do that now.
