I feel a little silly asking this, but does anyone else have a baby who doesn't really move a lot during the night when asleep? I see all these memes about babies wriggling all over the cot, flipping over and staying asleep the whole time.
My DS is 7 months old and when put down he rolls onto his tummy and sleeps in one position until he wakes up. He occasionally moves his head and limbs around, but only when he gets to the end of a sleep cycle. When he fully wakes up in the night, he kicks and bangs his legs against the mattress and moves his head around etc, but no rolling around. He isn't a great sleeper and wakes up at various points in the night.
He is very active in the day and happily rolls, pivots around at tummy time and sits etc, no worries there.
Just wondered if this was normal behaviour? I am a FTM, so this is probably a really ridiculous question and I should be thanking my lucky stars he doesn't go for little adventures in the cot!
