Scratching to self soothe?

Hi. My 11.5 month has always suffered from eczema and has been a bad scratcher from
day dot, recently we have really got her eczema under control and she doesn’t scratch in the day now, but she is scratching more at night when we put her down for bedtime/in middle of the night. I’m not convinced that she is itchy anymore and it’s become a habit, does anyone else’s babies scratch to self soothe? She scratches her shoulder/back of neck :(

I would buy some of those eczema pjs with mittens fixed on the ends so that what she doesn't do is break through her skin and start the cycle again. Used for one of mine who always wore them at night and they were amazing. We bought them through a company called Cotton Comfort. I have no idea if they still exist but they were worth the price for us at the time.
