Cold and not sleeping

Hi,

My 8 months old started nursery a month ago and since then has a constant blocked nose.

She's fine during the day but it bothers her a lot at night and wakes up pretty much every hour (unless sick/teething she is sleeping through the night without any issues).

We have a humidifier in her room, we clean her nose constantly with serums, her bed is slightly elevated - but she still wakes up.

My husband and I are exhausted... We take one night each to rest but it's even worst than when she was a newborn and we have no idea when it will end.

My sister is a nanny at a nursery and said it could last months... 😭

It's at a point where I actually consider to remove her from nursery because we cannot even function during the day!

Any advice? Anyone been through the same?

Sounds pretty normal unfortunately, my DD started nursery last September and we're still in the constant runny nose, fever and snotty stage, she only does 2 days a week.

We put a teaspoon of vapour rub in a cup of hot water and put it somewhere in her bedroom out of reach, also a warm bath before bed to help clear any mucus from the sinuses.
