My 6 month old is a serial cat napper. She used to take herself off for naps so well and a couple months ago she's stopped which is understandable as she's developing more etc. but she's soooooo over tired, and needs to nap but she just refuses, unless she's in the pram or car. The most she will nap is 30 minutes, even if that is a contact nap! I've been following wake windows, tried to rock her to sleep, tried to let her self settle but just nothing! Her night time sleep has gotten so much worse as she's gotten older too and I just have no clue what to do.

Any advice is appreciated!! Xx

Sounds like she can’t link her sleep cycles (completely normal and nothing to worry about but she may need some help until she masters it). When your baby stirs or just before it if you notice she’s coming to the end of a cycle do whatever you did to get her to sleep - rock , pet, sing, feed etc. then you’ll probably get another cycle out of her (30-40 minutes). Good luck x
