dd has never gone through, but for a long time (couple of months) she has reliably slept from 7 to between 12 and 3 and then after a feed slept till between 4 and 7, so i was getting up once or twice, now shes 20 weeks and waking every 2 to 3 hours, i'm shattered! this has been happening for the last week, surley too long for a growth spurt. I am trying to introduce solids, but only small amounts and not bfing less

Islamum, have you checked her for fever etc? i assume you have done this already, but just asking . I knwo this can be very tiring, but you're doing well... What I'd suggest you try is to lift your dd before you go to bed - brake up her 7pm -12am/3am sleep - say around 10pm. This may help tide her over during the night and she therefore mightn't be as hungry. I also bf and I found that when I got tired I got stressed which affected my ability to bf. Have you tried to express your milk and ask someone else to feed her so you can get some well needed rest. I understnad you value bf and the bond it gives, so you may be reluctant to introduce this - but think about it xx
