DS (12 weeks) lying wide awake in my arms, and black out blinds on my shopping list!

both ds (18 months) and dd (4.4years) are in bed for their normal time (7.15/7.30pm) even though it is only really 6.15/6.30pm in 'old' time. We have blackout blinds/linings at both bedroom windows but they were actually both looking tired anyway - dont know why as we havent left the house/done anything very exciting today.

Well my 2 boys are still in the bath and have not had any tea yet! Its tomorrow morning I'm worried about now!

dizzydixies · 30/03/2008 19:55

both mine still up having only just had tea, will be going to bed as soon as I've finished mine though and will hopefully sleep through

they're 22 months and 4.8 btw

Lol, Naetha - that was me last year. I was prepared this time.
Ds, 20 mths is asleep in bed as usual, thankfully.

llareggub · 30/03/2008 19:57

Mine went up at his normal time and I felt very smug until I realised he was bouncing around the cot. He is now crying and I am thinking about going up to him. THe crying isn't his upset cry, it is his give me attention cry.

Clocks changing have never really affected DD very much. She's nearly 6 now and it doesn't faze her. She tends to just go to bed about half way between the two times, and then back to nomral next day.

Tonight is a late night though. Still school holidays and she is enjoying snuggles with daddy, whilst watching Top Gear.

We only got back from Spain last night so we are still on the same time as then, so not afected us at all this time.

meep · 30/03/2008 20:14

minimeep seems to have just slotted into new time - bath time was more fun because she wasn't as tired as normal. Her room has a velux window - with the best blackout blind ever so she's snoring away!

My ds (3.5) was difficult to get into bed, and is still wide awake now. He was sure that it couldn't be bedtime as it wasn't dark. It didn't help that he was still upset about DH going back to Amsterdam, and that he had nearly 30 mins sleep in the car going to and from the airport so isn't as tired as he would normally be.

captainmummy · 30/03/2008 20:20

Well we nearly missed the swimming lessons this morning, remembered with about 15 minutes to go! The rest ofthe day...well we've had lunch and dinner at th usual times, and I'll put them to bed at the usual times, but it seems strange that it's still so light outside. The guinea pigs don't want to go in!

pulapula · 30/03/2008 20:53

We split the difference and DS (9mo) was fast asleep at 7.30 (normally 7) and DD (3.3) was in bed at 8 (normally 7.30). We also put them to bed 30 mins earlier last night in preparation for the lost hour.

Not sure how i'll cope though as we all went out for tea at 5pm and i'm feeling a bit peckish now (normally don't eat til 7.45).

Eve34 · 30/03/2008 20:53

We are still on old time.... went to bed half way between so up at normal time tommorrow and hopefully on track then?? watch this space

bran · 30/03/2008 20:57

My little bugger darling is still awake and it's 30 mins after his normal GMT bedtime.

lucyellensmum · 30/03/2008 22:03

hate it hate it, DP is still trying to settle DD, everything was behind, then more behind, then more behind - nightmare, just like i knew it would be!

castille · 30/03/2008 22:05

DS (20mo) asleep at usual time but he woke at 11am today so his day has been completely different from normal anyway

DDs (10 and 8) were still awake at 10.15pm though, so tomorrow morning will be fun
