7 month old sleep problems

Hi everyone,

Not sure if anyone has any suggestions here but I’m not sure where else to turn! My little one has just turned seven months, and his sleep is absolutely awful.

He was breastfed until 6 months, and now on a dairy free formula due to suspected CMPA. Up until he was three months old he slept really well - would go down independently for naps and have 2/3 wakes overnight. Since then his nights have gone haywire!

He currently has a bottle at 6.30, bath, and then goes to sleep in his cot around 7pm. By 9 at the latest he is screaming the place down, thrashing around, and that’s us set for the night. Sometimes he could go 10 minutes before crying again, sometimes maybe an hour or two. Once he’s awake he’s so hard to settle, and it could take two hours at a time to get him back to sleep.

he has white noise, blackout, comforter, dummy and just can’t seem to settle.

Any advice would be appreciated as I’m at my wits end! I understand all babies sleep through at different ages (I have a three year old who is yet to sleep thought the night) but would do anything to get him into more of a two/three wake ups routine rather than this constant up and down.

thanks!!
