Hi
My 17 month old has generally been held to fall asleep which has worked for all of us but he's been pushing me away recently which made me think he's ready to fall asleep on his own.
When I pop him down in cot he just thinks it's play time and climbs around his cot laughing his head off. I've tried lying next to his cot and rubbed his tummy with my arm through the bars, sittting with my back again the cot, sitting on a chair in his room and just leaving him but nothing is helping.
We have never used his cot as a play pen so not sure why he is doing this.
Anyone had this or any ideas how I can make him see cot is for sleep not play?
