7yo not wantinf to sleep in her bed

Hi

DD1, 7yo, has become increasingly difficult to put to bed in the last few months. I put her to bed, same as her sisters and she'll keep getting out of bed with different excuses or crying dramatically. She'll end up sleeping LATE only to wake up 2 hr later and come into our bed......

No1 she's not getting enough sleep, no2 we're not getting peaceful adult time, no3 I'm starting to feel resentful......

DH is soft on her. I think my parent were a bit stricter, so I end up playing 'bad cop'. He thinks it could be adernarche, that hormone surge before puberty..... in my view either way SHE NEEDS TO GO TO BED AND SLEEP! Yep, I don't know what to do anymore...... I have changed her bedroom, put several night lights, go up and down stairs few times an evening......... help....

What can I do? What do you suggest I try? MIL is coming to visit for a few weeks in a month or so. Maybe she could do something? As in a different person from mum and dad.
