Hi we sleep trained my 3 year old girl last summer and since then other than the odd little hiccup she has been great, we take her upstairs, read a story and lay her in her bed and she falls asleep.
However she had her tonsils and adenoids removed last Tuesday, she ended up staying in hospital until Saturday evening due to not eating and drinking, overnight in hospital her mum had to deviate from our routine and sit on bed with her as she fell asleep.
First night home she went down fairly normally but at 2 in morning woke up and we couldn't settle her so ended up having her in our bed with us for rest of the night as we can't leave her to scream and cry during recovery. We thought let's just do that for a couple of weeks and then retrain her. But now last night and tonight she isn't interested in sleeping, as soon as we go upstairs she turns into a child we have never seen before, she's so naughty, horrible and a
I know she's just doing it for attention but we are powerless to control her without upsetting her. Last night she did settle eventually at 2 but tonight it's even worse 😭
Just don't know what to do
