Sleeping on front....

I know all the info says babies should be put to sleep on back, but 6mo DD suffers with chronic wind and just will not settle on her front. Has anyone put their babies to sleep on back from this young an age?

After 6 mths, the SIDS advice is to let them sleep in any position they get themselves into...

Both my Dc's have slept on their fronts from birth(well once out of hospital anyway), my Ds is 9.5 and Dd is 15 months. I can't remember if son would sleep in any other position, but Dd would not sleep in any other position. I slept on my front from birth apparently too...

Try it and see and if you are worried re SIDS, then buy an Angel Care monitor or similar for peace of mind.

Incidentally, my Dd at about 12 months started to pull her bedding round so that she was laying on it, so I put a pillow in her cot so that she lays her body on the pillow, but has her hips and legs off it IYSWIM.
Good luck.
