Hello!
I feel like I'm getting things all wrong for my 6month old boy.
I'm trying to follow a nap/sleep pattern but I wonder do you feed at the start and finish of a wake window?? How best to structure it?

He only ever napped on me (as we speak) or out in pram /stroller - sometimes indoors in pram but now he's the in stroller last few days as pram got a bit snug - so I've lost that option!

I'm going to get blackout curtains this week as light might also be part of the problem.

We seem to have a hellish time with burps. I use anticiolic btls which helps a little bit but still plenty burps.
Sleeps pretty well at night.
Yesterday though he didn't nap in the afternoon, even out in the stroller, then didn't feed well, slept right through night almost 11hrs, so that was worrying as I was sure he'd wake for a feed after 2hrs, not even a burp! It was a busy day having taken him to a group for the first time.

I've struggled to move out of the newborn stage of figuring out queues and offering feed all the time. I had low supply, he didn't put on weight, so we've ended up breastfeeding on one side before and after a btl of formula, he seems to be at about 400-500ml a day of formula (Ive not been expressing last few weeks) I track with Huckleberry app. Feeds have been very time consuming and a faff when btls time out or go cold then suddenly he needs more etc...

After the bf supply issues we were straight into teething at 3month which also disrupts feeding and naps badly. I use ashton parsons teething powders/gel. Ibuprofen/calpol often but not maxing out with dosage.

Starting solids today so I'm sure that'll bring more changes. DH has been gathering wisdom from his colleagues says baby porridge fills them up they'll sleep more (I just read in Annabel karmels book that its better to opt for more nutrient rich root veg etc, not to do too much carbs is the impression I got)
I get easily overwhelmed by information and get indecisive these days. Trying to improve on that. Anxiety has been bad since feeding/supply issues.

Another thing is he's not big on crying - shouting, squealing, fake choking(?!), hands up, grunty noises so I have such a job decifering his wide range of expressions!

I just get to the end of each day worrying he's not fed enough or well rested and how it can affect his development... and we just need more rhythm - routine feels unattainable so I'd be happy for a rhythmic approach 😂

Any hints or suggestions most appreciated!
