8 week old sleep issues

I am really struggling to get my 8 week old to sleep. As a tiny newborn all it would take was a quick feed, pat on the back and he was out for the count, now it’s a different story! Currently the only way to get him to fall asleep is to feed him to sleep, he is breast fed. I she tried rocking him but sometimes eve after 40 minutes of rocking he is still awake and looking around the room like he is not tired, despite being awake for hours and hours. The issue I have when feeding him to sleep is that he wakes up the minute I burp him, he has bad reflux and if he is not burped he tends to spit up when he is laid down and wakes up. He is bad for becoming over tired as he fights sleep and naps during the day, when he does nap it’a very short lived, normally 20 minutes on me and then wake the minute I place him down. I have tired every dummy under the sun and he will not take one, he just prefers to use me as a dummy to get to sleep. I know this is probably just a stage but I am exhausted and cannot get anything done currently. I have tried baby wearing but again now he is more alert he doesn’t fall asleep and tends to just look around and fuss in the carrier. Any advice or ideas at all are welcome.

Sounds really tough. My baby was similar at this age and really fought his naps. I tried to strictly follow wake windows so he didn't get overtired which helped. Pram walk was always a good way to get him to sleep at that age too, does that work for you?

Super tough! My partner works long hours and the days feel never ending, he’s growing so quickly and I don’t wave to wish the time away. Pram walks work until we get home and he wakes back up, I brought a rockit but that doesn’t seem to be the right motion for him! Poor thing gets so overtired but just won’t give into sleep!
