Milestone waking causes crying?

Hi! My lo started crawling a week ago, and since then, shes been yelling about 10 times a night! I think its milestone waking but she doesnt always wake up, just tossing and turning. Does milestone waking usually cause crying? And how long does its last??

Thanks!

Jenny (so tired)

What is milestone waking??? I'm on my 3rd child who is nearly 2 and this is a new phrase to me!

Am also fascinated by the term 'milestone waking'.
My eldest is 12, and I have never heard of it.

Oh haha. Did I make up the term? Or is it called development waking? Its when a lo learns something new and wants to do it during sleep which then affects their usual sleep pattern.

Are you in UK? I've NEVER heard of this at all! Even the concept of waking up at a development stage!
