5 month old suddenly fighting naps

The problem began around a week ago and I am going insane now. My 5 and half month old was going for naps quite well so far - she has 3 naps (it usually was 30/90/30 minutes). No fussing, took around 5-10 minutes to put her down. Wake windows 2-2,5h (usually closer to 2,5 unless I see sleep cues). Now every nap is associated with cries and screams, sometimes they even last for an hour after which she just „passes out” from tiredness… this never happened before and the night sleep is still great - she goes to sleep almost immediately after being put down. I have tried everything - going out of the room, staying in, holding her, stroking her head, singing, shushing… I have no idea what I can do more - nothing seem to work. I tried putting her down earlier or later both had no impact on the issue. Did any of you had such experience or have any idea why is this happening all of the sudden? My first thought was teething but with first two teeth there was no such issue and still she screams only when put down for a nap. Then I though of reducing the nap - maybe she is just ready to drop from 3 to 2… but then the wake windows don’t really allow me to do this and she still sleeps like only 9 hours of night time sleep so I am not sure dropping a nap is what she needs. Please, please someone help
me!

I have no advice but wanted to say I’m experiencing the same. Unless I put her in the pram and walk for a nap duration, she will not sleep during the day. Any rocking, holding or even trying in the car because it’s raining is met with what we are calling a kick off. I’m BF so I’ve been trying to feed to sleep but it’s 50/50 if it works. I’m exhausted for her 😴

Can I ask how old is she and did these issues with sleep came suddenly or was it always hard to put your little one for a nap? Btw. Pram walks are also the only solution for the short naps…
I know what you are goin g through and though it’s hard it makes it a little easier knowing you’re not alone experiencing such issue

She’s going to be 6 months next week. She’s always been slightly difficult to nap however would contact nap 95% of the top or be rocked off to sleep happy enough. Would cuddle her and within 5 mins she was out for the count unless I went to put her in her Moses basket. When the 4 month sleep regression hit, she no longer liked being rocked to sleep and even now, if I go to hold her in such a way she thinks I’m going to rock her she kicks off. During the day now I can’t be confident when she’ll nap or if she’ll nod of herself or if I have to go out with the pram & keep walking. I can however know she’ll be asleep by 7.15pm most nights, starting on me & then transferred with no issues around 9pm and stay asleep til 2am for feeds etc. It’s literally just the daytime and I’m starting to not enjoy going out anywhere with her because she can be so grumpy & overtired she makes this horrible scratching noise for everything
