Fox and the Moon or other holistic sleep consultant

Hello, I’m wondering whether anyone has experience or recommendations from working with a holistic sleep consultant?

I’ve been listening to the podcast “Baby Sleep Sessions” by the Fox and the Moon and am interested whether anyone has worked with them on a 1:1 basis? I’ve like their approach of getting to the source of a sleep problem, rather than sleep training but looking for recommendations before committing as the costs are prohibitive and I’m struggling to get my husband to see the benefit (he thinks any consultant may be a waste of money as they will only tell us to sleep train).

Failing that, any recommendations for a holistic sleep consultant would be most welcomed.

For context, my DS is thirteen months old and sleep has been extremely challenging from the get go. I’m feeling beyond exhausted and losing morale now that I’m back at work. I don’t necessarily have an issue with sleep training but looking at tackling the cause of the frequent wakings.

Any firsthand experience having worked with a holistic sleep consultant would be so welcomed!

Hi, I have worked with a holistic sleep consultant periodically since DD was about 10 weeks old, she’s now 21 months and I last spoke with the consultant about 5 months ago when I went though a tricky patch. She has been invaluable, I would recommend her but her website is down at the moment. DD is going through some kind of 2 year regression at the moment and so far I feel empowered to help her through it myself. I was never told how to sleep train but I did do controlled comforting when you stay in the room, and it worked so well. DD’s sleep is up and down but that is normal, and overall it’s improving as she gets older.

If fox & the moon is expensive then Second Star to the Right (on Instagram) is also popular and she might be a bit cheaper? Also if you look up Lindsay Hookway I think she has a list of accredited holistic sleep consultants on her website.

Best wishes xx

Hello @Theselkiegirl just wondering if you used Fox and the moon or other holistic sleep coach? I’m in the same boat and keen to find some help x

Hi! We used Kate Reynolds ( https://www.surreysleepcoach.com/ ) who was brilliant. We met her at The Baby Show in Olympia and she focusses on looking at the whole child to as opposed to quick wins which was better suited to our family. She trained with Lyndsey Hookway. Good luck with it. We're out the other side now but I know how hard it can be.
