9 week old not sleeping

This is probably going to be a long post but I’m at my wits end.
My nearly 9 week old was sleeping 3/4 hour stretches in his crib (after being breastfed to sleep) until 5 weeks old then it became hourly wake ups and now for the past week it’s been no more than 20 mins!
I’ve resorted to co sleeping after nights with no sleep at all, but he’s still really fidgety and wants access to a boob constantly which means I’m getting sore and still hardly any sleep.
We use a swaddle, white noise, he has no more than 90 min wake windows in the day, a bedtime routine with darkness and hushed voices. Tonight I’ve rocked him for an hour and half to get him to sleep but no luck. I’ve tried putting him down dead asleep, drowsy and awake and soothing him back to sleep in his crib for up to an hour at a time but he can’t get back to sleep. Day time naps are in a sling as he’s never liked being put down.

Basically is there anything I’m missing and please tell me this will get better! I don’t know how I’m ever going to have a night off if he will only feed to sleep and co sleep/side feed throughout the night.

Is he doing the active sleeping? Where the baby moves a lot but is still asleep? Is he swaddled when he is co sleeping? I didn't like having mine swaddled if we were co sleeping but the swaddle worked really well up until about 12 weeks as mine had a really strong Moro reflex and was such an active sleeper. We tried various swaddles the best I had was a Velcro one. I breastfed baby to sleep in swaddle then velcroed swaddle closed and held for a bit and then transferred into crib. This worked until about 3 months and then baby started rolling so no more swaddle.

Did this get better? i’m going through the same and so worried as my LO is getting no sleep, like less than 8 hours in a 24 hour period 😩
