Hi mums,
im at my wits end and looking for help anywhere!! My twins slept pretty well until they turned four months and then it went to shit. We are at nearly 11 months now and it’s getting worse not better. They go to bed at 7pm and will sleep to around 9.30 or 10 and then they will either wake separately or together every half an hour all night. It’s 4.30am now and they are both wide awake and refusing to go back to sleep. This has been every night for the last week. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. We moved them into their own room as I thought maybe being in the room with me was disturbing them. I tried to get out of the habit of bringing them into our bed as everyone told me it was a mistake but we were just at the stage where everyone needed to sleep. It’s causing tension between me and my husband because we are so tired. I know there’s no magic cure but clearly I have to be doing something very wrong as I don’t know anyone else who had this much trouble with their babies sleep. Please mums does anyone have any advice on what I can do before I have a nervous breakdown

They are probably chronically over tired. Try an earlier bedtime (6pm) consistently for a few weeks. Good luck. X

You’re not doing anything wrong. Baby sleep is really hard to manage (if you can at all) and with two I can only imagine how hard it is!!! Baby’s do wake up multiple times a night - despite what media tells you it’s very normal and natural. Although very stressful for parents!
I don’t have twins but I do have a 12 month old who doesn’t sleep anywhere but next to me and wakes multiple times a night.
I don’t have any great advice… other than do what you need to do to get some sleep and to support your little ones to sleep. Don’t beat yourself up and take good care!

I’m strongly considering leaving them to cry it out 😭 i was so so against it but 11 months in with no sleep I think I might actually be losing my mind! My sister told me it’s hard but it does work
