My baby had her 8 week vaccinations last week and became quite upset / clingy that evening.
i gave her calpol to bring her fever down but she still seemed to be crying with pain and making straining noises. I presumed she was having tummy issues.
A week later and she is still being extremely clingy at night. Where she used to settle herself to sleep for 3-5 hour stints in her crib, she now screams as soon as her bum hits the mattress.
if I cuddle her into a deep sleep and then put her down, she will sleep for a maximum of 1 hour before waking and crying ( although mostly this is every 20 minutes!!)
i am getting absolutely exhausted as Im getting about 2 hours of broken sleep a night. I rang the HV today and she reckoned she has wind or a tummy ache, and has recommended infacol.
I’ve started giving infacol but not feeling confident that’s going to solve things… has anyone else experienced similar, a week after vaccines???
