3 months - out growing mosses basket but i have a floor bed - advice on cot / next to me?

DS is just about to out grow mosses basket. Its a small one that was gifted to us. He currently sleeps next to me, in basket on floor, as I have a futon bed slightly off floor, so I just need to sit up and pick him up to feed in the night. When I look at next stage cots they are all high so I would have to stand up to get him out to feed in the night? There isn't enough room for him to have a proper floor bed next to me ( this is plan when he goes into his own room). so ideally a slim / small cot is needed but i cant see one that would sit on the floor without a stand?
Anyone solved this issue or similar?

We had Dd in one of those big purflo nests - they were great!

I didn't think theses were safe for sleeping the night in?

Lots of travel cots are on t here floor, and you can add a proper mattress. I think some have a zip down side so you might be able to sidecar them to your futon.

The snuzpod top bit can be lifted off the frame so I’m sure you could put it on the floor next to you. It has a zip down side too

Actually just thought You could keep the frame downstairs and carry the main bit down to put on the frame for daytime naps. Could be a practical option

the sleep nests are not safe for overnight sleeping. What about a travel cot? They'd be at floor level same as you, get a mattress to make it comfy.

lots of the travel cots seem to have high sides which would make getting him out harder - but i will have another look.

We had a Snuzpod. The cot can be lifted off the frame and stood on the floor. With the side down it should work for you. DD is 50th centile and still had room in it when we moved her to her own room at six months.

There’s an ikea cot that is very low to ground base is only about 6” high and the side comes off completely to make it into a cot bed

might work.
but really any cot is going to have to have high enough sides that a daredevil toddler can’t climb over. So you are probably going to have to stand up.

or go completely for co sleeping arrangement if that’s your thing.

If you get a travel cot with zippable side opening you’re just going to wake them up by zipping it every time you’ve finally got them back to sleep. Been there!
