Tall/adjustable - height beds for toddlers

Our 2yo has been in a side-along cot since birth, but she's getting a bit big for it now, so we'd like to switch it for a regular child's bed

But are there any that are the same height as adult beds, or adjustable to that height? It would be nice for her to be able to come into our bed easily.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think it depends so much on your bed and mattress but it’s definitely possible e.g. our toddler has the same IKEA bed and mattress combo as a single that we have in our spare room as a double, so they’re exactly the same height. Is that what you mean?

@InTheRainOnATrain Thanks, I don't suppose you remember which bed it was?

Also, I was wondering if there are adjustable ones?

The bed we have is the Sagstua but most of IKEA’s beds and mattresses come in single, double and king. So long as you also opt for the same bed frame, slats and mattress for both the single and double (or king, IDK how big your bed is) they’ll end up being the same height. I’m sure ikea isn’t the only shop that sells the same products in different sizes either, I was just giving that as an example since we’ve bought the same bed twice in a rush to furnish the house post building work so it sprung to mind! Whether or not you want to replace your bed is the issue though surely? Especially if you don’t know how long you’ll be regularly cosleeping for… As for adjustable height beds sorry no clue outside of hospital beds (it was certainly handy post c-section)! Good luck finding what you need anyway.

Wouldn't one really big bed be better?

Yeah or that! Get a Superking and buy the single with you’re done cosleeping, whenever that may be!

A single bed would be a very similar height to a double.
But I've only ever seen toddler beds that are low. So you might need to jump straight to a full size single?
