Just wondered if any one else has been through this and has any advice. My ds is nearly 6 month old. As part of his bedtime routine I put him to sleep in his cot by himself at 6pm then move him into the bedroom with me at 9pm. He sleeps fine maybe wakes once or twice in this 3 hours. The problem is the rest of the night he wakes and I sooth him back to sleep but when I put him back down he just crus until I pick him up again, he has never done this before. He literally won’t let me sleep unless I hold him. I’m thinking it must be something to do with putting him to bed in a room alone as I have only tired this for 3 nights and 2 nights he has done this. I’m desperate for should I just go back to what I did before

Personally I wouldn't move him after three hours if he's settled. I'd check basics like whether he might be too warm or too cold in his room, is it dark enough. At six months it could be to do with increased hunger, activity and naps in the day time.
