Light disturbing naps...

Help!!

It's suddenly got a lot brighter during the day and the light is really disturbing 9wo DD from her naps. She naps well enough when we're out etc. but when she's in her cot it seems to really disturb her. She still sleeps fine in the evening when it's dark.

I can't put curtains up as I'm in rented accommodation and am not allowed. All we've got are those wooden slatted blinds. No-where else in the house is any darker.

Any suggestions? The poor wee thing is sobbing because she can't stay asleep.

Thanks.

Hi, before we had blackout blinds fitted I put cardboard over the windows in DS's room. You could tape it with masking tape so it won't leave any marks.

It looks really shit, but out of desperation I have pegged a blanket to the blinds and that seems to work. You could use a large towel or duvet cover. You won't win any style awards but needs must.

Aha!!! Towels it is. I have millions of them doing sod all.

Thank you!!
