Newborn sleep

Just wanting to know if this is okay. My daughter slept for 6 hours last night. She feeds constantly during the day. She's 2 weeks old.
My son at this stage only ever slept 3 hours. Which was still good.

I know they say never waks a sleeping baby and they'll tell you when hungry. She did lose weight in the beginning. Was 8lb 5oz born and went down to 7lb 6oz. At her last weight check which was Wednesday she was 7lb 14oz

So I imagine she's probably back to her birth weight. She's a gannet. Loves her boob. Boobie monster like her brother.

Tia 😊

That is a long time to be asleep without feeding for a 2 week old. Was she full term?

Can you do a dream feed? Don’t wake her fully but put her to the boob and feed her then straight back down to sleep.

I could try that. She must be getting all her calories during the day tho. She's never off the boob but will definitely see if she'll take it for dream feed.
