HELP grunting and wide awake

My 10 week old will not sleep on his back day or night. He's contact napping every time as he grunts and flails his arms and legs about when he's on his back continuously and then gets agitated. He will settle for all of about 30 seconds until he jolts again. He sounds like he's uncomfortable but I don't know if it's normal? We've tried swaddling and he hates it so he ends up sleeping on me every night but 10 weeks in and we need sleep!

Reflux? Will he sleep when he's more upright like in the buggy or car seat?

He sleeps much better in the car seat but I don't know if that's the car and feeling more secure. He won't sleep in the pram or his rocker. Last night it took an hour to get him into a deep enough sleep to get him in the cot for him to wake up after an hour and end up on me again

Hi OP, I would maybe persevere with the swaddling, and I can also highly recommend this baby bed if you think baby feels more secure when sleeping in the car seat/on you etc.

We had a Chicco Next2Me and this fit fine inside that.

I had this with my now 5 month old. I remember putting up posts about it worried / wanting more sleep as he was so so loud, and peopl saying they had the same and their baby grew out of it and can’t remember when. Well, that’s now me. Mine grew out of it probably by 12 weeks, but I honestly can’t remember. Hasn’t done it in absolutely ages now though. It will pass (sorry)!
