Help - how did you transition baby from 2-1 naps

Baby is 11 months and always been low sleep needs.

only ever slept through twice but on a good night one night waking which i can handle but lately like last night he woke every 2 hours.

schedule we have been on was wake 7am, nap 10-11 then nap 2.30-3.30 then bed at 7.30 which was working and he napped well. Past few days he keeps waking up from his naps after 30/40 mins and then the extra night wakings. I’m thinking time to drop to one nap and I think something like awake 7am, nap 12-2 then bedtime 7.30. I know might need to put him bed early some days and until it settles increased wakings are likely I just don’t know how to get to it. It’s such a jump going from 7-10 to 7-12 and he always seems the most tired first wake window.

how did other do this transition?

Do a small catnap at approx 9am for 20 mins, then put down again at 1 for the lunchtime nap. Eventually, you will find that they fight the first cat nap and you can keep them going until midday for just the one nap.
