Bed Time

I need some advice...my 21 month old has started getting really upset when I ( mum ) put her to bed. It's a horrible experience for us both and I end up feeling so guilty as I have to send dad up who has a cuddle then she goes back to bed and falls asleep peacefully. I hate to think that the last time she saw me she was so upset. To make it worse Saturday nights make me feel awful as I don't see her again until the next afternoon due to work. My husband doesn't seem to understand why i get upset or annoyed about it all. I feel awful, like a bad mum..I want it to be a good experience for us both. What can I do to make that happen. Any advice I would be so grateful for 🙏🏻

I'd just let the father put her to bed for a while and try again after a few weeks.

Small DC tend to prefer one parent if another and in my experience, there is very little you can do to change how she feels right now, because she probably doesn't understand how she's feeling herself.

Find something seavisl yoj ssn do with her at other times, like reading a story together she be you get on from work or enjoying having a bath together before bedtime.

It should pass really soon Flowers
