sleep gone to the dogs

DD is 19 months and has always slept well, she's at one nap (90 minutes) in the afternoons. Usually she sleeps deeply too, most of the time even loud noises wouldn't disturb her. And if she does wake, she'd be sleepy and would usually settle easily. Yes I know we've been lucky so far.

Over the last two weeks, she seems to be sleeping much more lightly. Even going in to her room to check on her is likely to wake her, she seems hyper alert. Just from looking at the monitor, she seems to be awake for much more of the night than usual. And even though she's tired, rubbing her eyes etc, at nap times she often doesn't sleep at all now, either playing in her cot or crying for most of the 90 minutes.. when she used to go straight down, especially at nap time. And while up to now she's been more than happy to go to bed at bedtime, now she's resisting, running away, protesting etc.

Maybe a stupid question, I assume all these things are related? Is it just a phase? And most importantly, is there anything we can do?

She's still the same... Can't even go in to her room without waking her. I assume there's no need to be worried about this sudden super light sleeping? But is there something we can do?
