Sickness and sleep 5yo

Advice needed pls. So the other night my 5yo son slept very badly. This was wed night. I dunno why but he kept waking etc. yesterday school phones me at midday to say he didn't seem himself can we collect etc which I did

I just thought it was tiredness so he had a 2 hour rest when we got back and bed as normal at 7.30. This morning he woke at 5 and I couldn't get back to sleep. He didn't want breakfast and so I decided to keep him off school especially as Friday also

Today he went back to sleep from 8.30am until midday when I woke him for lunch and after that he seemed totally back to normal. I didn't expect him to go to bed so early as he had a long nap this morning but he's fallen asleep at 6.30!

So is he sick or tired? He can't tell me as although he is verbal he's speech delayed so wouldn't be able to tell me he's sick or headache tummy ache etc

I'm worried he's gonna wake super early again tomo and it'll be a repeat of today and if it keeps happening it'll mess up school next week

Any thoughts?

I have a 3 & 2 year old and this would be a sign to me that they're not well x
