Bedroom each or share?

Hi there,

we currently have a 3 bedroom house, a master and 2 box rooms. I currently have my 2 boys sharing a room and we use the other room as a play room.. this seemed to work well but recently my 5 yr old has been wanting to have his own space to relax in and play (build his Lego/jigsaws etc without being worried that his little brother (2) will barge in and wreck it on him). Would you keep the playroom or let them have their own space now that the eldest isn’t wanting to share anymore?

we plan to move to a bigger house within the next 12 month anyway so I’d planned on giving them their own spaces then but I’m now thinking it needs doing sooner.. thanks

I would use it as a bedroom now- yes. They would then have their own rooms to have as their play areas. IF you wanted to keep the playroom, something like the pic might work- but possibly not if they are tiny box rooms.

Thanks, that’s a brilliant idea but the room is too small unfortunately. I will spend the weekend having a shift around so they each have their own space.
