Does it mask baby's needs at night or does it actually help?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'sleep needs' but it definitely helps.

The needs of a baby 😂 feed, winding, comfort etc etc.

To anyone that may offer a helpful or insightful response - if I play white noise my youngest, 6m, stops still. When he whitenoise isn't playing it is quite clear if they are writhing with wind or needing a feed. White noise seems to mask all of these needs as baby wakes but stops totally still.

So back to my question then - does it mask or does it help?
